Race Expansion Chambers/ Exhausts

Expansion chambers are an integral part of the design of the two stroke engine, they are not just pipes to let the gases out A.S.A.P. the purpose of the expansion chamber is to scavenge (or suck) the burnt gases out of the cylinder, but at the same time stop the fresh gases leaving the cylinder. As the time the exhaust port opens until it closes is measured in thousandths of a second you can see that the design of a expansion chamber is critical.
Bike manufacturers have to make the standard exhausts to reach many criteria, most of them not concerned with performance, so well designed expansion chambers can give big increases in power.
The expansion chambers we sell are well proven on the Dyno and on the track.

As used by many factory GP Teams, these exotic race pipes are typically Italian styled and give good power gains. They are used by Aprilia on the "RS250 Challenge" and "Superteen" race series bikes. The pipes are "Works Look" bare metal and lacquered, the cans are Carbon/Kevlar.

Throughout the years whenever our customers in America or Europe send in their RD500LC or RG500 engines for tuning they usually say they have Jolly Moto exhausts fitted and that the performance is brilliant. The Jolly Moto factory is a small family run business near Bergamo in Italy.
The exhausts are handcrafted and are a work of art, e.g. the 500LC pipes have almost 100 individual welds!
The Jolly Moto collection covers all popular two strokes and we will be stocking the full range. The prices will fluctuate slightly with the exchange rate of the Euro.
