Two Stroke Moto-cross Tuning
In moto-cross some riders want more mid-range power, others want more top-end power. It depends on the type of tracks and the style of the rider. From new some models do not produce enough power or they produce it in the wrong place. No problem. By making subtle changes in port timings and port areas, we can put the power where the rider wants it as well as aiming for overall maximum efficiency.
We carry out tuning on all makes of moto-crossers from auto's to GP 500's, quads and sidecars.
Tuning autos = £75 + VAT
Tuning 60cc, 65cc, 80ccc, 85cc, 100cc = £120 + VAT
Tuning 125cc-250cc = £150 + VAT
Tuning 500cc & above = £200 + VAT
Two Stroke Big Bore Conversions
Enlarging the capacity of an engine provides a power increase throughout the rev range, giving more torque and acceleration out of corners.
With the changes to the capacity classes in schoolboy moto-x, 60 to 65cc and 80 to 85cc we overbore the 60 and 80 barrels and nicosil replate them to 65 and 85, we also supply new piston kits.
For the 125 to 140cc and 250 to 265cc conversions we overbore the barrels to the larger capacity and nicosil replate them. We remachine the head to the correct volume and diameter and where necessary modify the powervalves and head gasket and supply a forged “Wiseco” race piston kit:

To carry out the conversions we require your head and barrel complete with powervalves. If you require tuning work at the same time we do it at half the normal tuning price. There is an approx 3 week turnaround time.
